AIM: To investigate the effects of major operation wound on both endothelin (ET) and calcitonin gene-related peptide (CGRP) in hematoplasma of patients. CONCLUSION: The case fatality rates in combination group were significantly lower than those in single somatostain group. The efficacy of combination group was superior to that of single somatostain group.
